La adaptación cultural es vital para la integración. Integrarse en una cultura diferente lleva su tiempo y, en ocasiones, no se consigue aunque lleves muchos años en el país meta. Aprender y practicar una cultura extranjera aumentará tus oportunidades laborales. Piensa que también estarás contribuyendo a tu crecimiento personal. El saber no ocupa lugar. Si te resulta muy complicado, quizá tengas que buscar la ayuda de alguna persona nativa para que te explique las claves de su cultura y te enseñe a comprenderlas.

No menos importante es la discriminación racial. Este es un problema de muchos países y, aunque hay leyes y medidas para intentar erradicarlo, aún nos queda mucho por mejorar. No podemos garantizarte que no experimentes una situación negativa debido a esto, pero sí podemos decirte que no todo el mundo es igual y que, lo mismo que te pueden rechazar, te pueden recibir con los brazos abiertos. Te sorprendería la cantidad de gente que está para ayudarte en momentos de dificultad.

También podemos aportar nuestro granito de arena con prácticas buenas y saludables. Depende de todos el crear un mundo mejor que compartir.

Promover la diversidad y acoger nuevas culturas da riqueza a la sociedad. Las campañas de concienciación y sensibilidad de la integración laboral tienen efectos positivos y poco a poco consiguen mejorar el panorama para todo extranjero que quiere trabajar en España.

Combatamos la falta de una red de apoyo a todas las personas que lleguen. Bastante difícil es cambiar de país como para tener que lidiar con problemas sociales y laborales, ¿no?

Antes de mudarte a un país hispanohablante, infórmate bien de la documentación que necesitas y sobre la homologación de títulos, en caso de que tengas formación superior o de posgrado. Cuanto más te prepares, menos sorpresas encontrarás.

Y, sobre todo, respeta todas las culturas que conozcas, no solo la del país en el que te encuentres. Aplicar valores morales abre muchas puertas y no solo laborales.

Racial discrimination is no less important. This is a problem in many countries and, although there are laws and measures in place to try to eradicate it, there is still quite a lot to improve. We cannot guarantee you will not experience a negative situation because of this, but we can tell you that not everyone is the same and that, just as you might be rejected, you may be welcomed with open arms. You’d be surprised how many people are there to help you in times of difficulty.
