El sector del vino en España: tradición y cultura

El sector del vino en España es indudablemente importante en España. El vino español cuenta con una gran tradición milenaria basada en el respeto al vino y a los viñedos.

Merece la pena preparar una ruta de viñedos en España ya que existen numerosas bodegas y denominaciones de origen en el mercado del vino en España. La cultura del vino nos enseña desde la plantación de las vides hasta el embotellamiento, pasando por la vendimia y la crianza en barricas o contenedores.

El vino tinto español

Entre los vinos tintos españoles, es más que una obligación mencionar las denominaciones de origen más laureadas, que son D.O. Rioja y D. O. Ribera del Duero. Ambas producen vinos muy diversos con distintos tipos de uva. Sea como fuere, la dedicación al cultivo, a la vendimia y a la elaboración del vino siguen un proceso tedioso por parte de enólogos de prestigio mundial.

Otros vinos tintos célebres son la D.O. Priorat, Bodegas Torres, Marqués de Cáceres, Somontano o Toro.

Existen muchas más, tanto nuevos como cultivados tras una larga tradición, así que lo mejor es que hagas un buen circuito vinícola por España y descubras tu favorito.

El vino tinto es ideal para acompañar un plato a base de carne o para sobrellevar un día frío de invierno. Mucha gente lo mezcla con bebida gaseosa blanca o de limón para preparar un tinto de verano.

El vino blanco de España

El cava es un vino espumoso de calidad que tiene su propia denominación de origen protegida. Típico de la región de Cataluña, este tipo de vino es ideal para los paladares más exquisitos. Desde un Freixenet, famoso en todas las sobremesas españolas en Navidad, hasta un Mastinell, la variedad es infinita. El cava se puede mezclar con bebida gaseosa blanca para preparar sangría de cava, otra delicia refrescante de verano.

Como no, también contamos con el Albariño de las Rías Baixas gallegas. Este vino sabroso es muy suave, así que se puede disfrutar con un buen pescado o con marisco.

Asimismo, cabe destacar al D.O. Rueda, que nos recuerda a una alegre primavera floral. Su frescura y carácter floral están más que reconocidos a nivel mundial. Puedes combinar este vino casi con cualquier cosa y en cualquier estación del año.

El vino rosado de España y otros

Aunque el vino rosado no sea una variedad que tenga tanto recorrido como el vino blanco y el tinto en España, también ha crecido mucho en los últimos años y nos ha «regalado» experiencias inolvidables.

Podemos destacar Las Campanas Rosé de la D.O. Navarra, que ha alzado varios premios a nivel nacional.

Muchas bodegas que ofrecen tintos y blancos como productos estrella, también producen rosados de prestigio.

Entre otras variedades, encontramos las bodegas de Tío Pepe en el corazón de Jerez de la Frontera, en el sur de España, con la producción de vino fino y amontillado y vinos dulces naturales, entre otros.

El vermut es un vino aromático dentro de la categoría de «vino fortificado» célebre en el litoral mediterráneo. Tómatelo como aperitivo o utilízalo en un cóctel.

Rosé & Other Drinks in Spain

Although rosé wine is not a variety that is as popular as white and red wine in Spain, it has also grown a lot in recent years and has given us unforgettable experiences and it is now part of the Spanish culture.

We can highlight Las Campanas Rosé from the D.O. Navarra, which has won several national awards.

Many wineries that offer reds and whites as star products also produce prestigious rosés.
